Information for presenters at CIIA 2021

Presentations can be made in Portuguese, Spanish or English.

In the case of presentations via previous video upload:
- these will be published online from June 17, 2021, on the CIIA 2021 website and YouTube channel, for free access.

In the case of live presentations (24 or 25 June 2021):
- these will be recorded, for later free-access on the CIIA 2021 website and YouTube.

Live presentations via video conference platform:

Authors with accepted proposals and with registration and payment made by May 15, 2021, 23:59“Virtual - from video conference platform” ** must make a live presentation, on the day and time defined as scheduled in the program and in accordance with these requirements:

Presentation duration limit: maximum 9 minutes (please, do not exceed the limit)

* "Doctoral students (virtual) or “any students (virtual) " can choose to send video in advance and must follow these same requirements.

Presentations via previous video submission:

Authors with accepted proposals and with registration and payment made by May 15, 2021 “Virtual - previous video upload”* must send a video file, according to these requirements:

Early video submission: until June 9, 2021, 11:59 pm

Video length limit: maximum 9 minutes (please do not exceed this limit)

File size limit: 1 GB

File format: MP4

Note 1: Videos sent by email will not be accepted.

Note 2: in case it is necessary to make any changes to the video, final version to be sent by June 15th - no changes will be accepted after this date.

Call for proposals: abstracts & full-papers

In the process of submitting proposals to the congress, authors have the opportunity to be chosen to publish full papers in one of the conference books or in one of the ULHT-CICANT journals - see call for papers here. Proposals will be peer-reviewed.

The conference proceedings book will be published by McGraw Hill Education:

The best accepted proposals will be rcommended for special issues in one of two scientific journals:

In the first submission and review phase, which was open until March 8, 2021, authors submitted their proposals via EasyChair.


Notification of acceptance of proposals was made on 22 March 2021 - see here the list of accepted proposals.

In the second phase of the submission process, authors must send the complete articles by May 15, 2021, for review by the Scientific Committee, for  publication in the conference book

CC reviewers will send their assessment and comments by May 30:
- note that the CC may refuse the publication of the full article, if it does not meet the quality standards of the congress.

 


The maximum number of submissions per author is 3 contributions.
If an author sends 3 proposals, he/she must formalize 3 registrations.

Payment is made by the author and for each of her/his accepted communication.

The communication will not be published until the payment has been made by all the authors who sign the communication.

After notification of the acceptance of proposals (from March 23, 2021), in the second phase of the submission process, authors must submit the complete articles by May 15, 2021, for review by the Scientific Committee, taking into account publication in the conference book.
